A Quiet Little Signal, and a Very Large Network

Here's the honest version — including what it doesn't do.

The tag sends a low-energy signal

No SIM card, no data plan, no charging. The battery lasts two years — and when it runs out, you open the back of the tag and drop in a standard coin cell. Under a minute, no tools.

Nearby phones pick it up — anonymously

Uses FindMy from Apple to relay the location privately and encrypted. Nobody sees where your item is except you.

You see where it was last spotted

The app always shows a timestamp — "Seen 2 hours ago" — so you know exactly how fresh the information is.

You get an alert when something changes

Set your storage unit as a trusted place and get notified if the tag is later seen somewhere else.

Important Notes

It's not a live video feed. There's no camera, no audio, and no way to see inside your unit remotely. SGo locates — that's all it does.

Inside a closed steel unit, it may go quiet for a while. The signal needs nearby phones to relay it. You'll see a "Seen X hours ago" timestamp, not a live position.

The point is the moment things move. If your tag shows up somewhere it shouldn't be, you'll know. That's the job.

BATTERY

Nothing to charge, nothing to schedule.

The tag runs about two years on its original battery. When the app tells you it's getting low, open the back of the tag, swap in a standard CR2032 coin cell from any drugstore, and close it again. No tools, no re-pairing, no trip to the front desk — though we're happy to do it for you.
