Grand Opening! | Brand-New Storage Now Welcoming Move-Ins in Clermont, FL
Included with your unit

Your things are stored. Now you'll know if they ever move.

A small tag, a free app, and one less thing to wonder about.

Your SGo tag came with your unit at Sunny Storage. Attach it, pair it with the app, and get an alert if what you stored turns up somewhere you didn't put it.

Takes about a minute. No contract, no extra account — just the app and your tag.

Three Steps. About a Minute.

No tools, no wiring, no batteries to buy.

Do it right at your unit on move-in day — our team is happy to help.

1

Attach the tag

Stick or clip it to whatever you'd hate to lose — a box of tools, a bike, a piece of furniture, the trailer hitch. Somewhere it won't be peeled off in a hurry.

~15 seconds
2

Scan the QR code

Open the camera on your phone and scan the code on the tag's packaging. It takes you straight to the free app — no account to build from scratch.

~20 seconds
3

Name it and you're set

Give the tag a name you'll recognize — “Garage boxes,” “Dad's tool chest,” “Boat trailer” — and turn on alerts. That's the whole setup.

~25 seconds

A Quiet Little Signal, and a Very Large Network

Here's the honest version — including what it doesn't do.

  • 1

The tag sends a low-energy signal

No SIM card, no monthly data, no charging. The battery lasts about a year.
  • 2

Nearby phones pick it up — anonymously

It uses the same kind of crowd-sourced network other trackers rely on. Any compatible phone passing by relays the location privately and encrypted. Nobody sees your item but you.
  • 3

You see where it was last spotted

The app always shows a timestamp — “seen 2 hours ago” — so you know how fresh the location is.
  • 4

You get an alert when something changes

Set your unit as a place. If the tag is later seen away from it, your phone lets you know, with the time it was detected.

Straight Talk: What It Isn't

It's not a live video feed. Location updates when a phone passes nearby — not every second. That's why every screen shows you when it was last seen.

Inside a closed steel unit, it may go quiet for a while. Metal walls block signal and hallways are empty most of the day. That's normal, and it isn't the point.

The point is the moment things move. Out in the open — a driveway, a truck, a road, a parking lot — the signal comes through. If your things ever leave without you, that's exactly where you want to be able to see them.

Two Layers, Doing Two Different Jobs

We take care of the property. Your SGo tag stays with the item.

Sunny Storage protects the place

Everything on our side of the fence, around the clock.

  • Fully fenced and gated property
  • Personal keypad access at entry
  • 24/7 cameras on entries, driveways and unit rows
  • Friendly staff on site during support hours
  • Bright lighting and clean, brand-new facilities

SGo stays with your things

And keeps going where the cameras stop.

  • An alert if your item is seen away from your unit
  • Last known location, with the time it was spotted
  • A trail of where it's been — useful information to hand to authorities
  • Travels with you on move-in and move-out day
  • Works on trailers, boats and vehicles parked outdoors

Peace of mind between visits

Most people visit their unit a few times a year. In between, the tag is the thing that would speak up.

Covers moving day, too

The trip from your home to your unit is when things get lost or left behind. On the road, the network is at its best.

No subscription to babysit

No SIM, no data plan, no charging cable. Attach it and forget about it — the battery runs about a year.

Private by design

Locations are relayed anonymously and encrypted. The phones that help spot your item never know it was there.

Share it with someone you trust

Sharing a unit with family or a business partner? Send a view of one item, for as long as you choose.

Add as many as you want

One tag per item, one app for all of them. Boxes, bikes, trailers, tools — name each one and see them together.

Questions We Get at the Front Desk

We're here to help!

Why can't I see my item inside the unit?

Because your unit is essentially a steel box with the door shut, and the hallway outside is empty most of the day. Signals don't travel well through metal, and there aren't many phones passing by to pick one up. This is expected. The tag earns its keep the moment your item is out in the open — a driveway, a truck, a road — which is exactly when you'd want to know about it.

How often does the location update?

Whenever a compatible phone passes close enough to spot it. In a busy area that can be every few minutes; in a quiet one it can be hours or longer. That's why the app always shows a timestamp instead of pretending the location is live.

Does this replace my tenant insurance?

No — and please don't treat it that way. Your tenant insurance covers loss or damage financially. The tag is a locating aid, nothing more. Keep your coverage exactly as it is.

Will it get my things back if they're stolen?

We can't promise that, and neither can anyone else. What the tag gives you is information: where your item was last spotted and when. That's useful to have and useful to share with law enforcement, but recovery is never guaranteed.

Do I need to charge it or pay a monthly fee?

No charging, no SIM card, no data plan. The battery lasts about a year and the app tells you when it's running low so you can swap it before it goes quiet.

Is my location private?

Yes. The phones that help spot your tag do it anonymously and encrypted — they never learn what they helped locate, and their owners never see your item. You're the only one who sees where it is, unless you deliberately share it with someone.

I have an Android phone. Does it work for me?

Ask our staff before you set it up — coverage depends on the network your tag uses, and we'll walk you through what to expect on your device so there are no surprises.

Can I use it on a trailer, boat or vehicle?

Yes, and that's one of the best uses for it. Anything parked outdoors sits under open sky with people coming and going, which is the friendliest possible setting for the network.

What if I lose the tag itself?

Stop by the office. We'll help you unpair the old one and get you set up again.
